About MCP Hunter
A weekly launch board for products that ship an MCP server. Makers submit, the community votes, and each week produces one ranked board at a permanent URL.
Why a board just for MCP
General launch boards are crowded, and a good MCP server loses to a screenshot tool with better marketing. The audience that wants MCP products is small, specific, and technical. It deserves a page where everything on it is relevant, and where the entry requirement is a working server rather than a well-shot demo video.
The one rule
Your product must ship a working MCP server, and we connect to it to check. Not a screenshot of
one. Not a promise that it is coming. We call
tools/list
against the endpoint you give us and build the listing from what came back: how many tools it
exposed, what they are called, whether they carry descriptions, and one round trip of response
time.
Every listing on this site is written from that answer rather than from the maker's marketing copy. That is the whole product. The rest is a launch board like any other.
What a listing does not mean
We check once, at submission, and never again. So every verification claim here is past-tense and dated: "Verified 12 August 2026, 13 tools, responded in 400ms". A dated result describes that moment and nothing after it. We will never tell you a server is working right now, because we did not look.
We also do not rate security or safety. We have not read any listed product's source, audited its data handling, or checked what its tools do when you call them. A listing says a server answered us. It does not say the server is safe, and it should never be read that way.
How a week works
- • A week runs Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC.
- • Products are ranked by votes. One account, one vote per product, while the week is open.
- • When the week closes, its board is final and stays at its own URL forever.
- • The top three earn a followed link and an embeddable dated badge.
- • Past weeks are never redirected to the homepage. The archive is the point.
Who runs it
MCP Hunter is built and run by one developer in the Netherlands, started in 2026. Every submission is reviewed by a person, which is slower than automating it and is the reason the board stays worth reading.
Shipped an MCP server?
Free to submit. We connect to your server and build the listing from what it answered.
