These terms govern your use of MCP Hunter at https://mcp-hunter.com. By browsing, voting, or submitting a product, you agree to them.

1. What the service is
MCP Hunter is a weekly launch board for products that ship an MCP server. Each week runs Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC and produces one ranked board at a permanent URL.
Browsing is free. Submitting is free.
2. What a listing means, and what it does not
Before a product is listed, we connect to the MCP endpoint given to us, call tools/list, and record the result: whether it connected, how many tools it exposed, their names, and one round trip of response time.
We check once, at submission, and never again. Every verification claim on this site is past-tense and dated. A dated result describes that moment and nothing after it. A server that answered us in July may be gone today.
We do not rate security or safety. We have not reviewed any listed product's source code, its data handling, its permissions, or what its tools do when you call them. Other directories advertise safety ratings. We are not one of them, and a listing must not be read as one.
Connecting to a listed server is your decision and your risk. An MCP server you connect to your editor can read what you give it. Evaluate it yourself.
3. Submitting a product
To submit, you need a GitHub account and a product that exposes a connectable Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint. stdio-only servers are not accepted at present.
By submitting you confirm that:
- You have the right to submit the product and to have it listed
- The endpoint you give us is one you are authorised to have us connect to
- The information you provide is accurate and not misleading
You keep all rights to your product. You grant us permission to display its name, tagline, links, icon, and the connection-test result on the board and in the permanent archive.
One submission per maker per week. Every submission is reviewed by a person, and we may reject any submission for any reason, including reasons not listed here. A rejection is not a statement about your product's quality.
Listings are permanent. Past weeks are never redirected or deleted. You can withdraw a submission before it is listed. Once a week has closed, its board stands as a record of what launched that week.
4. Voting
One account, one vote per product, while the week is open. You can withdraw a vote at any time before the week closes.
Do not manipulate the vote. That includes creating additional accounts, buying votes, coordinating vote exchanges, or automating voting. We record signals to detect this, including the IP address a vote came from and the age of the voting account.
If we find manipulation, we may remove the votes, remove the listing, and ban the accounts involved, without notice and without refund, because nothing was paid.
5. The winners' package
When a week closes, the top three products earn a followed link and an embeddable dated badge linking back to that week's archive page.
Claiming that package requires proving you control the product, which you can do at any time, including after the week closes. Until then the listing stands but the followed link and the badge do not issue.
Badges state a date and a placing. Do not alter one to say anything else.
6. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Submit an endpoint you do not control or are not authorised to have us connect to
- Point us at an address in order to attack it, scan it, or use our connection as a proxy
- Attempt to break, overload, or circumvent the gate, the rate limits, or the review process
- Submit malware, phishing, or anything illegal
- Scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other people
We connect to submitted endpoints from a hardened, sandboxed path with private and cloud metadata addresses blocked. Trying to defeat that is a violation of these terms and possibly of law.
7. Availability
The service is provided as is. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may change or discontinue any part of it.
The permanent archive is a commitment we intend to keep, not a warranty.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MCP Hunter is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or damage arising from a product listed on this site or from any MCP server you choose to connect to.
The service is free, so where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the amount you paid us, which is nothing.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, fraud, or intentional misconduct.
9. Third parties
Products listed here are not ours and we do not endorse them. Links to them are links to other people's software.
MCP Hunter is not affiliated with Anthropic. The Model Context Protocol is an open specification, and "Claude" and related marks belong to Anthropic.
10. Your content, our content
You keep your product's intellectual property. We keep ours: the site, its design, its copy, the connection-test results we produce, and the badges.
You may embed a badge we issued to you, unmodified, linking to the archive page it points at.
11. Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from the Account page. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms.
Sections 2, 8, 9, and 10 survive termination. Listings on closed weeks remain, as described in section 3.
12. Changes
If we change these terms we update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
13. Law
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent courts of the Netherlands, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.
