What a data MCP server does

A data MCP server gives an AI assistant such as Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT data it does not have on its own: marketplace prices and rankings, sports odds, public records. The assistant calls the server's tools, gets current numbers back, and works from those instead of from what it remembers.
