What an SEO MCP server does

An MCP server gives an AI assistant such as Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT a set of tools it can call while you work. An SEO MCP server's tools read search data, check how a site or brand shows up, and suggest what to change, so the assistant answers from real data instead of guessing, and can make the change in the same session.

Most of the servers in this category are hosted: you add one URL to your client and sign in. Others run on your own machine from a package.

Which of these are for SEO, and which for marketing

The list above is everything its makers filed under Marketing & SEO. They do different jobs:

Product What it does, as its maker describes it What its maker says you need
QueryScope Reads your repository, sizes the searches your buyers type against your Search Console, and proposes one change at a time Sign-in to its hosted server
Agentzia Simulates people asking ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok about your product, and shows why they get recommended a competitor An account; new accounts get free credits, then paid credits
Pangolinfo VOC Insight MCP Researches customer feedback across public social and review platforms, with sentiment and competitor share of voice A Pangolinfo API key; some calls use credits
Autoposting Drafts posts and carousels, cuts clips, and schedules to X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads and YouTube Paid Autoposting access
MCP for Twitter and LinkedIn Scores drafts against your own voice, reads your post analytics, and publishes to X and LinkedIn after a preview step A VoiceMoat Pro or Enterprise plan
ClipTalk Turns a prompt, script or product page into a short video for TikTok, Reels and Shorts An account; free credits on signup
AppScreenshotStudio Generates App Store screenshots for an app listing Runs locally from an npm package

For search itself, QueryScope covers Google rankings and Agentzia covers how AI assistants recommend you. The rest are marketing MCP servers: social publishing, video, customer listening and app store assets.

QueryScope and AppScreenshotStudio are made by the people who run MCP Hunter. Their places in the list come from votes in their launch weeks, like every other product's.

How to pick one

  • Sign-in required on a card means the server turned us away without an account, and published how to sign in. That is normal for a server that reads your accounts, and it is why we have no tool count for it.
  • Permissions declared are the scopes the server lists in that published sign-in document, quoted as written. They say what you can grant it, not what it does with the grant.
  • Found on npm means the server runs on your machine. We read the package's registry record and did not run it.

Before you connect a server to your Search Console or your social accounts, read how to vet an MCP server. If you have the server's URL, our MCP connection test shows what it returns to a stranger, in one free check.

How this list is ranked

By votes. A product can only be voted for while its launch week is open, so every count here was collected over the same seven days, and a tie goes to the newer launch. The featured upgrade buys a highlighted row on its week's board and moves nothing on this list. The tick and the line under a product are what its server returned when we called it, on the date shown: one measurement, not a claim about today.
